Esther 4:11
"All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
It was a standing principle and policy over the years, that the king’s inner court was not accessible to any one; even the queens and the service staff without special occasion or reason. However, Esther’s Jew community was under heavy, hopeless and helpless burden that she was the only one that God can use.
As a result, Esther, (she ) was put on the spot to access the inaccessible inner court of the king. She put her life on the line to save her community. She was the last hope for her people. In the process of preparation for what God wanted to do with her life, the king’s chamberlain was delighted in her.
There was no record that any one had violated the policy, because the people knew what the king was up to regarding this harculene national policy. However, for Esther, the policy changed. The place that had been inaccessible for years to many people became accessible to her within a short period. The heart of the king was divinely touched on seeing Esther and she accessed the inaccessible. The rule of death was turned to favor and honor. The dead end became the starting point of glory for Esther. She added boldness to her faith and God was with her. The lesson here is to always add boldness to our faith in God through Jesus. Amen.
