Romans 15:13
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost”
God of hope is one of the Names attributed to God. HE is the foundation upon which our hope is built. HE is the joy and peace of our lives. The whole world may be in crisis, but in the middle of it all there is a sure promise of joy and peace. The joy in this context is in filling to our soul and heart. Peace offered by the world does not last as the one offered by Jesus.
The wise men looked for Jesus and their joy was full. Their hearts were full with joy. They had peace that all their wealth and popularity cannot match. They were satisfied for being the first set to encounter Jesus at birth. They had hope of future joy and peace. They abound in hope of everything peace in the world with the birth of Jesus. Amen.
We cannot see Jesus now but we can feel HIM and have hope that we would see HIM at His second coming soonest. It is certain to know that our joy and peace shall be multiplied because our valleys are filled with much joy and peace. Amen. The birth of Jesus announces new hope for the hopefuls and strength for the weak.
