Nahum 1:7-9
"The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in HIM, 8) But with an overrunning flood He will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue His enemies. 9) What do ye imagine the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
At the beginning of this series, Divine Intervention was explained as the power of God to bring evil to an end and make good things to start. Also, last week, it was mentioned that our God will not sit by in heaven to allow afflictions to continue without appropriate divine intervention.
Today is September, 11, and God is speaking through this devotional that affliction will not rise up again; against you and your households in any form, inJesus Name. The season of Divine Intervention shall manifest in the affairs of your lives. Your enemies shall become the enemies of God, in Jesus Name.
The above passages reveal that God can initiate divine intervention as needed by His people that do not trust in their own abilities. The people of God had suffered enough and God purposed to bring the sufferings to an end. That is how good our God is. He is able to stop all kinds of afflictions. He is full of mercies for us. Trust in His ways and directions. Seek Him first. Be consistent. Surrender in Truth and Spirit. God is always ready to rescue His own from the afflictions of the wicked. Amen.
