Luke 2:11-14
"For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord,
12) And this shall be a sign unto you ; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13) And suddenly there was the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
Jesus Christ was born to us as a human being, but the process was not the same like the process you and me was born. The process of the birth of Jesus was quite spiritual and divine. He was born of a virgin named Mary. Jesus Christ took our humanity but not our human nature of sin. He was born without sins to bring peace to our broken world.
The season we are celebrating is the birth of the King of Glory; the One that is called the Prince of peace. God used the birth of Jesus as a peace offering and gift of peace to the whole world. Actually, His birth was to bring about peace between man and God and peace among ourselves. God’s character and nature is of peace. Amen.
Our world is complicated and mostly divided in every area and we are not as united as God wanted. Jesus Has come as our peace but He Has not been totally accepted. Born with a mission and is coming back with greater mission. Brethren, let us follow Him in truth and spirit so that we can reign with him. Are you grateful for the birth of Jesus been the Savior of the world and waiting earnestly for His second coming? If Yes, endeavor to remain at peace with your fellow brethren and if No, make moves to be at peace. Peace, peace. Let there be peace. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another day of peace in the land, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for your grace to receive forgiveness of my sins in Jesus Name.
3) Father, Let my peace be full, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, I will not fall amongst them that fall, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, before the end of this year, let my joy overflow, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, Let your peace reign and rule in my family and life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, with the remaining part of this year, release unto me and my family daily gifts of peace, in Jesus Name. Amen.
