1 King 19:19
" So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Sha-phat, who was ploughing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth ; and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him."
God planned the divine positioning of Elisha who had completed his daily assignment before the passing by of Elijah. The above Bible passage refers to the fact that Elisha was on the last yoke of oxen when Elijah showed up. This meant that Elisha was available for the next chapter of his life by the reason of divine positioning.
May be your “Elijah” will be passing by to find you this season. Are you ready to sacrifice your yoke of oxen to receive the mantle and follow your “Elijah”?
Little did Elisha recognize that Elijah would cast his mantle upon him. He was busy attending to yoke of oxen until he was found, because of divine positioning. Please note that for Elisha; it was not about the title, but the mantle. Mantle is more permanent and lasting than title. Seek for the mantle not the title, because man can only give title but God gives the mantle. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, position me for my Elijah to find me this season, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let my Elijah meet me to cast my mantle upon me, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, position me for my mantle this season, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, do not allow me to miss my Elijah, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, before the end of this very month, position me for uncommon blessings, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, as this month of divine positioning is progressing, let me progress with it, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, reveal my position to my Elijah to find me this very month, in Jesus Name. Amen.
