Acts 8: 34-35
And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? - 35) Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
The preaching of Jesus was a kind of an encounter necessary for the Ethiopian Eunuch to have meaningful relationship with HIM (Jesus). As a matter of fact no matter who we may be or highly placed, there is need to have divine encounter in some ways. Divine encounter is always our various experiences with heaven to know more of Jesus.
Knowing Jesus and indeed having encounter with HIM and HIS name changes life for ever. You have access unlimited access to what only heavens can give. Every spiritual thing belongs and comes from HIM, as so belongs to us through divine encounter.
Apostle Philip came on point exactly at the time the Ethiopian Eunuch was struggling with the understanding of the gospel. What ever you may be struggling with this day shall encounter with the power of Jesus. As long as the Lord Liveth, all your troubles and struggles shall meet with Jesus for a special encounter. No challenge of life can stop Jesus from doing good and great things as you believe. Give all your troubles and struggles to Jesus. Lay them all at the feet of Jesus for divine encounter.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the new light of the day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, my eyes are on you, I plead the blood of Jesus for all the journey of my life, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, forgive all my sins, generational and ancestral, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let my life experience a special encounter that will remove all shames, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let this month of divine encounter make a great way for me, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, as this year is progressing, let me have a progressive encounter with you, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, I surrender my life and family for a great encounter with you to change us for better, in Jesus Name. Amen.
