AS SAMUEL WAS OFFERING” Part II : Wednesday November 28

1 Samuel 7: 9-10

"And Samuel took a suckling Lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the Lord: and Samuel cried unto the Lord for Israel; and the Lord heard him. (Samuel)- 10) And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomforted them; and they were smitten before Israel."

As Samuel was offering the burnt offering up wholly unto God, there was an immediate response and action by heavenly intervention. The result was unprecedented. The time God sensed the burnt offering, HE thundered from the side of heaven and there was a testimony.

The quick time frame of God’s intervention was apparent that there is power in thanksgiving offering. Prayer still works, but offering sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord facilitates victory for HIS people. There is no battle that God cannot fight and win, no matter the sophistication and the number of the opposition.

With God in the picture or at the center of the battle, endeavor to give thanks in any special way that will confuse the enemies. Praise God for the glory of victory ahead and you will get one. We have God that gives Glory of victory within a short sign of savor of sacrifice. God takes sacrifice of praise important even when it comes in the middle of the battle of life and you are sure of getting God’s backing you up for favor of victory. Amen.
