Romans 4:17
" (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were"
When God speaks HE puts HIS reputation on the line for definite fulfillment. God Has the final say in all things as He had from the beginning of ages. He spoke into the life of Abraham and called those things which were not as though they were. God and Faith move side by side.
God who quickeneth the dead can do anything. He who gave breathe to the dry bones, also give a child to Abraham in old age and make him a father of many nations. Of course, God can bring the worst sinners, backsliders and bite bitters back to become righteous. God can revive those that are dead in trespassing and sinning back to a spiritual life. All depends on the level of their faiths.
Faith speaks as far as it can see. It is the power of faith that moved Abraham from barrenness to fruitfulness. Faith moved him from the promise point to fulfillment point, despite all the circumstances and factors against him; he focused on the power of his faith in God. Age is no barrier for God to create you afresh and anew. In whom do you believe as a Christian? Let Christ take over your fears. John 16:33 is enough for our courage. Do not fall for the fear of the unknown stand fast for the faith of the known. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for speaking to the situation of my life in all ways, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for opening my eyes to the issues regarding faith in you, in Jesus Name.
3) Almighty God, I rely on you to increase my faith, in Jesus Name.
4) Abba Father, it is time to work out my own with my little faith, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, my eyes are unto you let my faith take me out of all afflictions of the adversaries, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me remain standing in faith, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, as this year is progressing, let my faith in you progress with signs and wonders, in Jesus Name. Amen.
