Proverbs 11:30
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life ; and he that winneth souls is wise"
Winning souls is a spiritual thing. It does not hinge much on your academics or any special ability. It is mainly your willingness and availability that are required. The Bible passage above referenced the act of winning soul as to the fruit of righteousness which is linked with a tree of life.
Apart from the Holy Spirit that Convicts the heart of a man/woman to submit and yield to any call, God at one point made someone or something to persuade you to believe that salvation of your soul is critical to whatever you can ever become.
Through out this month of March, this devotional will continue to emphasize on the import of soul winning. Do not allow a single soul near you to perish. Witness the goodness and the faithfulness of God. Demonstrate the fruit of righteousness at all times. Be sensitive to your environment. Look for opportunity to be a witness. Let your fruit become sweet to attract others to want to have a taste of your Jesus. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for bringing me and my family to the beginning of new month of March 2017, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the journey of my life so far this year, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, forgive me and train my heart to genuine righteousness in Jesus Name. Amen.
4) Father, make my life to be part of the wise in Jesus Name. Amen.
5) Lord, let my life become attraction to souls into your kingdom, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, give me wisdom to win souls, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Almighty God, empower me to go higher in the realm winning souls, in Jesus Name. Amen.
