Hebrews 8:6
"But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises"
There is a covenant that is old with promises and there is another better covenant that is new with better promises. All of these covenants are from the Lord. They are in the forms of old covenant in the Old Testament and new covenants in the New Testament.
For anything new to come to place, it means the old must be set aside. God knew that the old covenant was too detailed for man/woman to handle; hence the incoming of the New Testament. It was grace and favor that Noah received to be able to follow through the covenant of God.
Jesus Christ is up there in heaven mediating for our mess. Also, He is sitting by the side of the Father soliciting on our behalf. Whatever we are, have archived or accomplished are because of the order of the new covenant. Let us flow along with the better promises of Jesus. You can never ever lose out if you do. Better covenant comes with better promises and they shall be established because Jesus is involved. Amen.
