“BLESSING THE LORD AT ALL TIMES”. Part 1: Monday November 2

Psalms 34:17

"I will bless the Lord at all times : His praise shall continually be in my mouth"

Second to our Lord Jesus Christ, King David was one of the few in the Bible that Christians regard as addictive to giving thanks to God. He gave thanks with all that was in HIM, at all times. When he was winning, losing or at the cross road of life and at the edge of life, he gave thanks in and out of seasons. Hence, God decided to make him special.

David became the apple of His eyes of God because of his thanksgiving lifestyle. He never allowed conditions to dictate how he would appreciate God. In times of plenty and in times of near plenty or scarcity, he praised God and God’s presence enveloped and covered him and all his life needs. David was continually praising God, and God always come down to his rescue.

Brethren, let us be addicted to nothing but thanksgiving, after we have put in our best; knowing that giving thanks to God will perfect the rest. Thanksgiving is able to rescue us from the hands of our adversaries. Fight the fight of life with giving thanks to God, not with the arm of strength. David gave thanks always/at all times and God came down all the time to attend to his needs. Amen.
