1 Thessalonians 4:9
"But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another"
As we are going to the end of the month of global love, it is expedient to make love a verb tense in every area and indeed everyday of our lives. When we love our God, Jesus, brethren, neighbors, and spouses, we love ourselves and doing justice to the commands of God.
Love is powerful and can also be powerless. It is powerful, because it is capable of breaking through any strongholds of life; and powerless, because it is always in need of consent. However, there has never been any law court that can sentence any one for loving too much. God is the foundation of love. HE operates in and with love. In the book titled “In the Arena” a former president of United States of America, Richard Nixon, received a new lease of love on his hospital bed when evangelists Ruth and Billy Graham organized a visual love to him. The former president, perceived, believed and received love on a higher level.
Love should not be superficial. It should be real to serve its purpose. Love should not be a once a while or one month in the year affairs. It should be practiced daily and this will bring and make peace in every situation. Let go in love and God will be in love. Nothing can change Jesus from loving you, because HE had suffered too much to abandon you. Hold on to Jesus and let HIS Spirit of love be transmitted into your situations. Faith hangs unto Jesus and that faith will respond with the power of love. Do not throw the towel against love. Let all bitterness be removed by love and peace will come into your heart. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for the season of love that we celebrate in the world this month, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, use this season of love to open my heavens in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let your glory create in the world the atmosphere of love, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, my family and myself will never suffer again, because of your love, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let the power of your love resolve all issues of pain in my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, I will not fail in the glory and power of your love, in Jesus Name.
7)Almighty God, I commit my household to you under the grace of your love in Jesus Name. Amen. Amen.
