Luke 17:17
"And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
The ratio of Christians in our generation that truly give gratitude for the blessings of God is similar to the example in the above Bible passage. One out of ten obey God, worship God, serve God in spirit and truth; but where are the others? They have taken the blessing and the healing of God for granted and disappeared.
Thanksgiving should not a service but a lifestyle ; which the the nine lepers lacked. However, they should not be condemned because at least they saw hope for the future and seized the opportunity to follow up Jesus with the cry of mercy.
Between us and the nine we have similarities. If mercy could answer for the ungrateful lepers; who had been cast out of the community with scars and sore all over. Mercy released by Jesus and received by us can heal anything. Submit yourself to the mercy of God and receive the desire of your heart. Then express gratitude for the gifts of healing and divine health.
