Luke 20:36
"Neither can they die anymore: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection."
Jesus was speaking in the above bible passage addressing HIS followers shortly after the triumphant entry into Jerusalem, but before the journey to Calvary. Jesus was emphasizing on eternal life after death ; through the power of resurrection; which brought back Jesus to life. The power of resurrection applies to death and life and all things according to Colossians 1:16.
There is life eternal after this our physical death for the children of God and of resurrection. Here in the world there is death, but with Jesus in eternity, death has been for ever and ever excluded. Death has no place in eternity where Jesus is residing. Amen.
It is our identity in Christ Jesus that qualifies us to be called the children of God and eventually extends to be the children of the resurrection. Let us be steadfast, strong and unmovable in our relationship with Christ Jesus. No doubt, the children of resurrection enjoy all the blessings in the power of resurrection. Please stay tuned for the second/final part that will enumerate the blessings of the resurrection power for the children. Are you part of them? Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for bringing me to the beginning of another month of resurrection, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let the power of resurrection defeat and put all the sins in my life away for ever, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, as I journey into this new month, let my victory become new, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let me encounter the power of resurrection from now on till eternity, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let the power of resurrection rebuild and relay every faulty family foundation, in my family, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, by your power of resurrection, deliver me from every darkness of life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, arise in the power of resurrection and catapult me into the next level of grace, in Jesus Name. Amen.
