Acts 9:13-15
"Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, referring to Saul) how much evil he hath done to the saints at Jerusalem: 14) And here he (referring to Saul again) hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15) But the Lord Said unto him (Ananias), Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel."
When God Says Yes by His power of grace, nobody can say no. God chose Paul, who was known as the most outrageous leader of anti- Christ movement and at the same time he (Paul ) declared himself as the chief sinner, unworthy of grace. However, God endowed him with grace, when people like Noah in the book of Genesis found grace before God because he was a just man.
However, our God of all grace looked deeper than his declaration what he (Paul) was known. Prophet Ananias objected to the grace of God for Paul, but God overruled the prophets objection. God literarily told the prophet not to inter – fair in the process of grace for a chosen vessel. Please note that the vessel that God will use; HE, GOD will chose by Himself and made fit for the Master’s use. The prophet had no final authority to determine who God endows with grace.
God refused to hear how bad the “chosen vessel” (Paul ) had been from the prophet Ananias. God knows every one from the past even before birth. God does not make mistakes about chosen vessels. God chooses people for different purposes. He chose Pharaoh to prove His power over the purpose of the Israelites for liberation. God Has plans for you as you read today. Do not wait to be captured by divine force. Surrender willingly. There are purposes and plans of God for us and the grace of God will make them to manifest, in Jesus Name. Amen.
