Genesis 37:20
“Come now therefore, and let us slay him (Joseph), and cast him (Joseph ) into some pit, and we will say, some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become his dreams. "
The above passage will go on with about five series, because of the deep spiritual insight in it. “ Come now therefore“ is a gathering of Joseph’s brothers who wanted to take evil counsel against him, but God intervened. Joseph prevailed against the counsel of multitude of his brothers. One person that has God on his side is always victorious. Amen. That was the beginning of the glory of Joseph to rise and shine.
They came together to discuss and do evil behind Joseph but God of Joseph rose and intervened. Recall Isaiah 54:15 “ Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me : whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake” Hey Jesus!!!!! All Joseph’s brothers actually fell for the sake of Joseph and he (Joseph ) eventually rescued them.
Believe the word of God and it shall manifest for you. Stand firm and do not waiver. God will intervene for you. Joseph did not have the opportunity to strive with or defend himself against his brothers but God did on his behalf. God Has plans for you as HE had plans for Joseph. On every plan and through his life God proved Himself in the life of Joseph. Amen. God is able to do that in yours as well, but there is need to do your part. Amen. Be another Joseph. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for intervening in the process of my going higher, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for overturning evil gathering against me and my family, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, suddenly intervene for me whenever they gather against my destiny, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let your words in Isaiah 54:15 intervene for me and my household against “whosoever” , in Jesus Name.
5) Father, as you intervened for Joseph at every stage of conspiracies against him, intervene for me in like manner, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let your counsel overturn and overrule every other counsel in my life and household, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, always be on our side and nullify every demonic counsel against your church (RCCG) Amazing Grace Sanctuary, in Jesus Name.
