“DIVINE SUPPLY – Part II”

Genesis 2: 8 & 15

"And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed. "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. "

Every single thing in the garden of Eden was by the immediate work of God’s wisdom and power. It was totally God’s paradise of divine supply. God made available all that man needed to live for ever. The garden signified a great delight and pleasure of divine supply. The garden was the earth in its total completion and perfection for man.

It was by free grace and charge that God created man and the garden. It was by Amazing grace that God put man to be in charge of all the supplies and provision in the garden. In the beginning of life, God was delighted in our prosperity and wanted us to have it easy, but for the deceiver, the devil; who intruded into the garden.

I always wonder, where was the man living before God put him in the garden for possession? Was man put in the garden immediately after he was formed? The fact in this matter is that God had made the supply ready before man was put in the garden. The admonition today, is to know God as the source of all our supply. Seek HIM with joy and gladness of our heart in the abundance of good things He has given to us. For our generation; our Tree of life is in Jesus Christ; who is also our daily bread of life. The source of our supply cannot dry. Every one has his/her portion and ration in God’s everlasting supply. Allow no intruders  (agents of darkness) in your “garden” and work and dress your garden to sustain God’s supply! Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for my divine supply this day, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the free and Amazing Grace of my divine supply, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, protect my life from all forms of intruders, in Jesus Name,
4) Father, fight against all the intruders of my life, those I can see and those I cannot see, in Jesus Name. Amen.
5) Father, do not allow my hands and indeed my life to be idle, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, make my life a testimony of the season, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let your supply continually be flowing into my ‘garden’, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
