Hebrews 10: 39
"But we are not part of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul"
All Glory be to God, this week is our week of national holiday Thanksgiving; we are set for the day to gather together and remember those that flagged off the event. We are able to remember them because they never stopped doing good for the sake of the land they found themselves. They are the set of the people that really loved America. Worked for America, lived for America and died for America.
American holiday aside, please any where we may be in the part of the world, let us maintain the attitude of thanksgiving. Not only on a particular day, or in a particular season but everyday of our lives. It is a good thing to thank the Lord. We must not stop giving thanks to God even for every little thing that we have achieved. Stopping to give thanks is an indication of drawing back. Not believing that God is behind all that we are and we have. Drawing back leads to sin of ingratitude and may hinder the final process and journey towards eternity.
When any one draws back, it is an indication of conscious or unconscious act of ingratitude to God. It leads to sin of perdition, which is separation from the love of God. The more one draws back, the more the person is exposed to the devil. Draw nearer to God and you will be far away from the devil. Eternity is closer than we might think. Are you ready for the final saving/salvation of your soul?
Prayer points for the day
Have a blessed and wonderful day!
