Joshua 5:1
"And it came to pass when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of the Jordan Westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel."
Thank God ; the Almighty, for the above long, but self explanatory details of how generally the adversaries feel when they hear of your success. In the same manner, when some people learn of our breakthroughs, they feel somehow negative as if such things were not.
The people of Amon, Canaan and their kings heard the good news of how the flooded river Jordan had dried up ; which eventually created easy access to the Israelites to posses their possessions. To them it was a really bad news. The Bible passage above indicates that the Amorites and others did not hear the good news until after they had crossed the hinderance of river Jordan. In addition, it was revealed that they lost their mind, by the way of melting of their heart.
God Himself had made the provision of the possession to His people; who did not obtain it because of ignorance and fear of the unknown. When God is in it, there is no greater assurance that the promise would come to pass. We are the heirs of Abraham : and Obadiah vs 17 says that the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. We are in the lineage of the rightful owner, and as a result, we are qualified. We also have claim to Mount Zion. Do not allow sins or fear of the unknown to rob us of our possessions, therefore, Arise ye and posses your possessions in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for your revelation of the season, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the forgiveness of sins this very month, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, confuse every of my adversary until I cross my river Jordan, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let me hear you clearly and follow without any fear of man, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let the hearts of my adversaries melt at the sound of my victory, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, at the borders of my possessing my possession, I will not give up, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let your presence come with me coupled with deliverance and holiness to possess my pose ions this year of the Lord 2018, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
