“DUE SEASON” – Part I

Exodus 3:7- 8a

"And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their task-masters; for I know their sorrows; - And I am come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians..."

Welcome to the month of “DUE SEASON”, October 2014.

The Bible passage above reveals that God was actually convinced that His people had suffered enough in Egypt, and the season of suffering must end. That was due season of change. God spoke and took necessary steps. The affliction season was overdue to go away and deliverance season had come.

Due means legitimate and season means appointed time. God is the designer of seasons. He knows the season to keep and the seasons to change. God that saw the afflictions of His people in Egypt is able to see your affliction whereever you may be. As He heard their cry in Egypt, He would hear your cry anywhere.

The season may be dry, dark and hard, but God is more than able to change the season you may be going through right now; because the affliction, the oppression of the task-masters against you have reached your God in heaven. God that spoke for the Israelites in their affliction and sorrow can speak for you. Hold on and reach out to God. He would not keep quiet as long as you turn the pain, affliction, sorrow and oppression to HIM. Engage with God in all of these and see how majestic His glory would show in your season. Praise God.
