1 John 3:11
"For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another"
The above Bible passage is reminding us that the message of love is not new to us. Love as It had been taught; in early days. It had been preached. It had been admonished. It had been given, still love is one thing that is lacking amongst the believers; who claim to love one another but with all kinds of conditions.
At every stage in the church, the kids, teenagers, young adults; we teach the love of God and the truth that Jesus is Lord. Every one in the church knows the import of the reality of love, but our love is only given to those who love us. What about those who do not show love to us? According to Jesus, we must love them. It is a mandate, not a suggestion that we should love one another.
Brethren, let the love of God be renewed in your/our hearts always and be shed abroad for mankind. Love not expressed for one another, is not love of God. Be generous in love, because of the day angels will swing around you do deliver divine messages. Let the love of God be meaningful in your daily disposition to fellow human beings. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for reminding me of the old message of love, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let your glory shine upon me and family by your love, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for daily loving me, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, I will not miss my day of angelic love visitation, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, I need your love every day of my life, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, by the power of your love, open my heavens, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let me love as the loving in the beginning, in Jesus Name. Amen.
