Jeremiah 31:3
"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee"
The Lord Still appears and can appear in His love to us as He did in the past. When God appears, there is always hope for something great. God loves all His creatures. God is never weary of loving us with His loving Kindness. HE is committed to His nature of love even in our unfaithfulness. God is always faithful. If He Says He loves us it is true and indeed, it is real.
The love that God Has for us is everlasting and it does not depend on who we are, but who God is. God is love and love is God. His nature is loving and lovely. Everything about God is love. The above Bible passage emphasizes that God has drawn the people of old with his lovingkindness. God will not forsake us in any circumstances, without showing and demonstrating His love for us on daily basis. He releases the dews and blessings of heaven on both the just and the unjust.
The love of God for us is fervent and we should also stand loving God by loving the people. Make sure that before the end of this month, we point someone with love and compassion to Christ and this may cause us our time and treasure. Let love be in the front “burner” of your life, Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for your fervent love and lovingkindness for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, do not let me be tempted with sin that can slow down the love of God in my life, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let your love keep me justified and sanctified, in Jesus Name .
4) Father, let your love overflow in my heart with joy, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let the winds of love blow and heal every area of my life and family, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let me enjoy the favor of your love for my life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let me have your love that will last till eternity, in Jesus Name. Amen.
