Genesis 32:24-26
"And Jacob was left alone: and there wrestled with a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me."
Divine encounter is mainly a personal experience. One may be in a crowd and be singled out for a life time encounter. However, the Bible passages indicated that Jacob was left alone. Being alone makes a divine encounter to manifest easily. One can expressly and safely say that Jacob was alone with God and experienced God.
To be alone with God brings a lots of benefit, because there wold be no distraction but to engage in the things of the Spirit, and divine encounter is one of them. Encounter with God is likely to follow in a place of serious “Alone with God” sessions. Jacob experienced God as soon as he was left alone.
In Genesis 32:1, the Bible Says ” And Jacob went on his way and the angels of God met him” Immediately, Jacob knew he had met with the divine and this would not go in vain. Angels do not appear without specific serious assignments. People do not generally see angels these days, but when something happens supernaturally or unexpected beyond our human comprehension, then we always say; may be God sent His angel. This is a revelation for someone reading today, that man can be like an angel and an angel can be like a man. The Lesson this morning is that as it was good for Jacob to be alone with God, it will be good for you: at times to have serious sessions of “ALONE WITH GOD” for a divine encounter. Do not write yourselves off. God can have a life changing encounter with you today!!!! in Jesus Name. Do not let go Jesus in your life, and you will be blessed. Praise God!!!!!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another day of life and living, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the power of divine encounter for my future, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for your loving kindness and overflowing mercy in my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let have a breaking through encounter in my life before it is too late, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let me have an everlasting and extra ordinary divine encounter, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, favor me in all directions of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Father, let me begin to experience your blessing by just one breaking through encounter, in Jesus Name. Amen.
