Ephesians 4:2
"With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love."
The above Bible passage highlighted three major things required to be able to forebear one another in love, but the bottom line factor is love. The requirements are lowliness, meekness with long suffering. The kind of love that put others ahead and above self is love with lowliness and meekness is when you have power to sanction an offender but instead receives unexpected pardon. Long suffering is how long one can go or how much one can take before falling to the spirit of hatred.
When these three qualities are present and displayed in our lives, we would not only be able to love one another, but be able to forbear one another in love and forgive any one and anything that offends us. These qualities will also assist us to challenge our ability or otherwise to love the unlovable. Amen.
What is the status of your lowliness, meekness and long suffering when forbearing love is put to test? Brethren, let us be the carrier of the Holy Spirit and forbear one another in love. Stretch yourself a bit more when it comes to loving one another, especially when people are unlovable. Let love be uppermost in your heart. Meditate on every scripture of love you can lay your hands upon and it will help to love more. Amen.
