Hebrews 4:16
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need"
In the above Bible passage “Come” is an invitation to access. This seems to be an open invitation. It does not say let only the saved come. This call is to both saved and unsaved. The call seemed more to the sinners to come and access what the world can neither give not take away – Mercy.
Mercy is forgiving. There is always a reason for the world not to forgive. Mercy is God’s idea for God’s purpose and not man’s. Mercy overlooks the past sins of man and gives another chance.
Mercy originated from the nature of God. By nature; man is merciless, hence mercy does not come forth easily from man.
At the mercy seat, there is grace for all seasons. Grace that works out life to be better. Grace that makes a way. Grace that shows up in times of need is grace for now and future. A life that wants to progress as already ordained by God, cannot afford not to access HIS grace. Position yourself for the grace that leads to all access to the throne of God. Do not allow any circumstance to snatch you away from the gracious place of God. When you connect with God, you connect with Grace. The presence of Grace is the dwelling place of God. Amen.
