Genesis 7:24 - 8:1
NLT Genesis 7:24
“And the floodwaters covered the earth for 150 days.
Gen 8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede.”
KJV “And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.” And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water assuaged.”
Today, Monday, is the final day of August 2020 and it is unique in a way that it is also the beginning of another working week. From the Bible passages above God was watching over the creatures preserved in the ark of salvation and counting how long they had stayed in the lock down for 150 days. Look like what this generation is going through!
As God remembered them, HE would remember us as we end this month and moving to the new month of September 2020, in Jesus Name. The ark provided divine protection to the family of Noah and the animals with him. God remembered HIS own ; both human beings and animals are all created by HIM. Not all human beings and the animals on earth made it to the ark. Why? Answer deferred till another time. Better still, please try and figure it out.
What are you waiting for? Get into the ark of God in the realms of the sprit. We need to be in the ark, because the wind from heaven is about to blow and do God’s errands. There is so much going on and the Lord is about to send a wind that will clear off every strange disease in the land. The ravaging Covid 19 disease must assuage. It must stop and indeed must recede. It is well over 150 days that it has been troubling the earth and the wind must blow. Are you in the ark or outside? The wind is about to blow. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for your mercies to see me and my family till the end of the month of the wind of grace, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy throughout these difficult times, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you because you will remember me and family, for preservation and protection, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, count me and family worthy of thy grace even in the winds of life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, send your wind from heaven to blow and dry off every troubling ravaging “water” in my life and family, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let your wind blow and bring peace to every aspect of my life and family, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, as I end this month with your wind of grace let me enter the new month with open heavens in new dimension, in Jesus Name. Amen.
