Psalms 103: 1-2
1) "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. 2) Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits:"
What is gratitude? In the spiritual and natural, gratitude is an attitude. To go a little more deeper, it is a God honoring attitude and if it honors God, definitely man too would love such attitude. Every attitude of gratitude comes with a mind shift from hot to cool and from bad to good. Whenever we/you appreciate God, it is equivalent to honoring God. Gratitude can also be seen as THANKSGIVING IN ACTION.
The Psalmist always blessed the Lord before, during and after every victory. He is known to be the best before the Lord for his attitude of gratitude in all situations. You know what? God always honored him. Jesus always give thanks in all of the miracles, signs and wonders the heavenly Father carried out though HIM. Why do we not give thanks always?
Gratitude seems to bring solution to all circumstances. It brings peace where there is no peace. Whenever any difficult situation comes up among your folks, learn to say “Thank You Jesus”. If you run into unexpected surprises from families and friends; learn to say “Thank You Jesus” . If what you planned to do have some challenges, learn to say “Thank You Jesus” These three words alert the power of the Holy Spirit to bring solution. “Thank You Jesus ” would not make you to pay evil for evil. Instead it provokes the power of peace and solution. “THANK YOU JESUS” AMEN.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for this first day in month eleven of this year in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for daily provision and protection of my life and family, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for allowing me and my family to see this day and this new month in peace in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let me have every reason to thank you for the rest of this day, week and month, and indeed this year, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let my attitude of gratitude provoke your blessing through out my lifetime, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, thank you for the life changing encounter of the month of October, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Lord, let this month make an overflowing room for my blessing, in Jesus Name. Amen.
