1 Chronicles 4:10
"And Jabez called on God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and thine hand might be upon me, and that wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
Jabez continued to press on in prayer with God. We can see that he needed more than blessings because he did not hurry away from place of prayer as to ensure that he had God on his side. Brethren, keep pressing on with God. He will bless you indeed. He will enlarge your coast. He will use his mighty hands to keep the devil in check so that grieve will not be your portion.
The experience of grieve is unbearable. It is the devil that grieves, no doctor can heal grieve, no pastor/bishop can heal grieve, no husband/wife can heal grieve, no amount of money can ward way grieve. Grieve is an affliction that only God can heal and remove in totality. Take it to the Lord in prayers and the power of God shall release divine peace and joy into your situation.
Additionally, prayer should not be rushed. The Bible encourages us to pray without ceasing. This tells us that we must spend quality time before God in prayers. Jesus spent quality time in prayer as to replenish himself with the divine powers needed to do exploits. Prayer-less Christians are empty vessels void of understanding the power of communicating with God. Our example; Lord Jesus Christ started with prayers. Jabez catalyzed his blessings by prayers. To receive answers and blessings indeed, we must pray indeed, like Jabez.

5) Almighty God, me and my household are in your mighty hands, defend us from all evil, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, remove every obstacle and barrier in my prayer life, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, have your way and deal with all physical, spiritual and emotional sicknesses in my life, in Jesus Name.
8) Lord, do not allow the devil to grieve me and my household forever, in Jesus Name. Amen.
