John 18: 6
"As soon as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backwards, and fell to the ground"
The above Bible passage is yet another divine revelation of who our Lord Jesus Christ is. “I am He” is the glorious name of our blessed God. Only Jesus Has the right to claim “I am He” The name represents the process of the greatest identity of who JESUS was; is ; and will for ever be. If any man today says ” I am he” they will further ask him to reveal his exact name.
The sound of “I am He” was so powerful and enough to stop the conspiracy of Judas and the supposed captors that came in that hour that Jesus described as the “come hour” The Bible passage above says they fell backwards and then to the ground. Jesus had the opportunity to disappear, but He stood up to them rather than kneel to them. He (JESUS) stood for all that had been predestined to occur so that the scriptures must be fulfilled.
Jesus submitted to the purpose and plans of God. He did not disappoint God even when there was imminent pain and suffering awaiting Him. He knew for sure the plans of God for His life and death. Stand up like Jesus did. There is sunshine beyond the cloud of life. Do not hide your identity. Let the world know who you are. You are His and He is yours. Declare His glorious Name There is power in that Name that is above every other name. The Name that is full of peace and sovereign solution. Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for this new year so far, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the blood of Jesus that cleanses, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for grace unlimited that we enjoy all last year to this point, in Jesus Name.
4) Almighty God, let the glorious and blessed name give me victory all the way, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, make a sound on my behalf this year that would give me victory against my enemies, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let every attacker hear your sound and begin to fall to the ground, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, this year, 2015 give me and my household an identity that will make our enemies to tremble, in Jesus Name. Amen.
