Acts 7:56
“And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God”
Stephen was at the center of the above Bible passage; in the middle of a deep opposition of the so called stiff necked against the gospel. People that Paul described as uncircumcised in heart and ears who always resist the Holy Ghost. Please refer to verse 51 of the same chapter 7.
However, in all they caused to Stephen, the Bible informs us that he was steadfast and full of the Holy Ghost. He lived life of the Holy Ghost and it was evident in his walk with Paul and Jesus. He was not just asking for the Holy Spirit. He was into the works and dictates of the Holy Ghost. He was said to be steadfast into heavenly places and the next thing that followed was that he saw the glory of God, because the heavens of joy opened for him.
Be steadfast, no matter what is going wrong in life, there is God of the very heaven of the heavens that can open your heavens and begin to make things right. Be immovable. There is no condition that is permanent. God Has his deliberate timings to visit that your particular issue. You will not wait in vain. There is power and beauty of open heavens. It will be your turn, if you do not weary or doubt. Again, be steadfast and you will see the glory of open heavens, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the grace of my open heavens of joy and peace and this challenging year, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for your faithfulness of open heaven of the heavens for my sake, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, open my heavens and let your glory show big time in my life and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
4) Father, open my heavens and let good, better and best things begin to happen in my family, and indeed my generation, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, open my heavens and let me enter into the beauty of your glory, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, in the remaining days of this year, let there be a major expression of open heavens, in my life, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, no matter the distractions or opposition of this world against me, let me remain steadfast in the power of the Holy Ghost to open my heavens, in Jesus Name. Amen.
