Romans 16:24
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution , or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Jesus going to the cross explained the kind of love Jesus Has for us. Greater love. No one was able to prove any allegations against HIM, yet HE submitted Himself as sacrifice for us because of love. Paul the Apostle summed up all what Jesus did at Calvary to resolve on having absolute confidence in the love of Christ; which can deal with tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril and sword. Love became the weapon to fight against all the situations facing Paul.
Jesus love for us is permanent and 100% bankable. We are the ones that love Jesus on and off. His love for us cannot be separated from us, because of His commitment to go and die for us. The love of Jesus for us is full, but our love for Jesus is in question, in view of the pressure of distress or tribulation and all the persecution we face. Jesus love for us is divine and we can surely bank on it. Amen.
Brethren, we must stand and demonstrate our love for Jesus. Love is not in words, it is in doing. Jesus did a lot for us in love. We must endeavor to do same to others within our powers. We all have some love to show and give. Love is not love ; until given away. Extend love to others and you too will receive love from others, by the grace of God. Amen.
