Luke 22:28-30
28) "Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29) And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me:
30) That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on the thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel".
The kingdom appointment is open to those that can suffer for the sake of the kingdom anytime. Jesus was tested with all kinds of temptations but He knew His purposes of coming to this earth and He endured, persevered and was given the Name that is above any other names. He is therefore occupying an exalted position with the Heavenly Father.
Your appointment unto the kingdom is confirmed because you are a child of God as recorded in verse 29 above. You are the only one reason that can change it if you fail to know your identity and walk in it. The divine arrangement and preparation is ready. Table is set. The throne is set. The kingdom is set. Are you set for it?
We are all at the final stage of preparation as all is set. It is an honor to sit, eat and be a co – judge with Jesus. What a privilege to enjoy and not forfeit the divine invitation? You have all access invitation, which is eternally valid. Work out your own journey to this kingdom. Be sensitive to the things that can slow you down or prevent you from making it to the glorious kingdom. Wake up from any slumber and be ready. Let your lamp be filled with “oil” which represents the presence of God. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the divine invitation into your kingdom, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, by your grace and mercy, let me overcome all the temptations that may come my ways, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, I will not miss out in this your glorious kingdom, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, fill my lamp with oil not to go out, in Jesus Name. Amen.
5) Father, the door of the everlasting kingdom will not be shut against me and family, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, have mercy upon me and do not cancel my invitation to your kingdom, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let your unquenchable lamp guide my footpaths to thy kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen.
