“LACKING IN YOUR FAITH” – Final Part

1 Thessalonians 3:10

"Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

The main reason many pray to God is to seek HIS face to perfect that which may concern them, as Paul rightly pointed out in the above Bible passage. Prayer is a powerful instrument to provoke the attention of the host of heaven.

The Biblical culture of prayer regarding Paul and other Apostles had been to pray without ceasing, fainting and until the crooked way is perfect. Note that a solution that tarries does not mean delay. You can never be a failure in the place of exceeding prayer. Let go and let God work. He is the only one that can respond to your prayer and supplication. Jesus was full of faith in place of prayer to the Father and the rest is history today. Abraham had faith in God and the testimony is all over the Bible.

God is faithful, even when our faith is shaky and lacking. Flesh and blood may slow you down; but we have got to go beyond them into the spiritual realm. Exceedingly persistent prayer has spiritual impact. Forget what the world around you can offer. Seek God to perfect that which is lacking in your faith and wait. Accept your weakness and imperfections and hand them over to the Lord. Do your best as much as humanly possible and let God into the matter for final results, and with expectation picture good results. Put the past behind you and you will have a new song of victory to sing, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Lord, thank you your faithfulness to see me and my family to the end of this month of March, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Lord, thank you for giving me another day in place of prayers, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Almighty God,  thank you for keeping me and my family at home and abroad safe, for the first three months of this year, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Lord, remember all my prayers this year and let my life continue to progress according to your will, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Almighty God, whatever is causing my faith to fail, put them to shame, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Father, remove all foundation of faithlessness in my life, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Lord, as I move into the new month of April, 2014, let me have new song to sing, in Jesus Name. Amen.
