Philippians 2:5
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus"
The mind of Jesus is free of strife and vain glory. It is a wonder that He always considered Himself last. No one can ever do what He did when He laid down His life on the cross at Calvary. Hence Paul said “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”
After we all have accepted Jesus Christ in our lives, we should allow the mind of Jesus to live inside of us. The mind of Jesus is known to be pure hence the devil could not get any of Jesus’s senses to fall for him. Jesus always put HIS father’s interest first and obeyed God the father unto the cross. The devil failed to derail the plans of God for Jesus and the whole world. Thank God, as Jesus did not fall into the hands of the devil therefore we too can resist by His grace – “Just allow this mind to be in you”
How do we guide our minds? Let the initial surrender advance to the next level without any spiritual assumption, to the level that you can no longer deny Christ, no matter what! Like the Hebrew young lads and Daniel in the old testament and Paul the Apostle in the new testament did not verbally say one thing to deny Christ in their lives. They lived for God, and for Jesus respectively. May we all retain the mind of Jesus so as to end the race well, in Jesus Name. Amen!
