Exodus 10:22- 23

22) “And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven ; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23) They saw no one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”
NLT
22) “So Moses lifted his hand to the sky, and a deep darkness covered the entire land of Egypt for three days. 23) During all the time the people could not see each other, and no one moved. But there was light as usual where the people of Israel lived.”
The people in Egypt where the unstoppable God caused darkness could not move around for three days since it lasted, but people of God living in Goshen did not experience any restrictions, because the light there made the difference. God prospered Goshen out of the crisis and during difficult times. In the same manner God can bless His own people in any circumstances. Amen. God also spared the land of Goshen from the pains and downside of all the afflictions.
The unstoppable God intervened to preserve Goshen. If the three days of darkness in Egypt was dreadful enough; then what will eternal darkness feel like? The light in Israel was favor from God and the darkness in Egypt was a national punishment of Pharaoh‘s hard and hardened stand against the move of God.
The declaration of the Bible is that we are the light and the salt of the world. As a result, we must make all the difference between darkness and light. The light in Goshen impact in Egypt. The people knew that God was with Goshen with His mysterious power that no one can challenge.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the light of breakthrough, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for bringing your marvelous light into my life and family, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, give me and family the light of Goshen, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, stretch out your mighty hand and let the light of Goshen begin to shine in my home and family, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, intervene in our generation and let there be Goshen light, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, cancel every affliction of darkness in our generation, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, it is my turn, let me receive the blessing of Goshen in full, in Jesus Name. Amen.
