“LORD, LET THE RIVER FLOW – IN THE MIDST OF THE VALLEYS” – Part II

Isaiah 41: 18

"I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water"

River of water gives life, living water, provision, enrichment in times of dryness, cleansing, refreshing, restoring, soothing, soften and healing.

 

Valleys are not where we normally find fountains, but with God fountains can be opened to flow in the valleys and no one can question God. Life in the valleys is crowded, rowdy, abnormally slow and subject to the oppression of those on the higher ground. Valleys are a place where there is so much struggle of life.

 

When God decides to make fountains in the valleys, it indicates God’s divine presence and a change in the order of nature to reverse what may be lacking in the valleys. God can reverse the irreversible thus causing the valleys to become comfortable places.

 

Someone may be reading this morning and feel like your life is stuck in the valley. Get over such feelings, because God has spoken in the Bible passage above concerning your situation.  What happened to the dry and seemingly dead bones in the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37:10 can happen in your situation – in which the dry bones became exceeding great army for the Lord. Victory came again to the people of God in battles, because God spoke and there was performance. Set your eyes on God and fountains shall be opened in your valley, in Jesus Name. AMEN!!!!

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Father, thank you for the gift of another day, week, month, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Lord, thank you for speaking concerning my life today, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Lord, thank you for your divine presence in all the affairs of my life, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Almighty God, let there be a change in the order of nature in my life, if necessary, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, vindicate me because of thy mercy upon my life, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Almighty God, let your fountains continue to flow in whatever may represent valley in my life, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Lord, let the river of mercy keep flowing in all the areas of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
