1 Peter 4:10
"As every one man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. "
There is a portion of manifold gift of God which is given to every one, and it certain that God is so much faithful that no one is left out. Absolutely, no one. God’s grace is sufficient to go round the universe for the purpose of mankind, but to the glory of God.
The key words as enumerated extracted from the first part yesterday are hereby mentioned again below:
1) Every man.
2) Received.
3) The gift.
4) So minister
5) The same
6) To another
7) As good stewards.
8) Manifold grace of God.
The emphasis today is how good steward of that particular gift you have been given are we ; as believers and followers of Jesus? The grace is manifold as the gift is manifold. Every ability we have and use must be credited to the power of grace of God. Also, any opportunity we enjoy is primarily as a result of the grace of God. Amen.
Finally, whatever ability we have to do good is under the grace and please own it to be the gift of God and give it back to the giver of grace. Do not create artificial scarcity of grace or hide your gifts of grace. It might amount to sin. Use them or lose them. Join hands in your gifts with others and let it be wholesomely gracious to produce grace results. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for all the seasons of manifold grace, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the power of great grace for great power, in Jesus Name. Amen.
3) Father, thank you for the gift of the forgiveness of all my sins, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, do not let me lose the gift of your grace in my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, as this year is going on let me and my family go on with our lives with the power of great grace, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, give me the grace to be a good steward of manifold grace, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, here am I, let me remain eternally blessed with grace, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
