James 4:6-7
"But He giveth more grace . Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
The matter of grace is important and critical to live successful Christian life in all aspects of mankind. Any one that lacks sufficient grace will always be in pain. Paul was an example. It was the sufficient grace of God that sustained his pains against thorns. What pains are the “thorns” of this world giving to you and family members; all we need to remember is the fact that there is sufficiency of grace to see you through, in Jesus Name. Amen.
It is clear that there is difference between the proud and the humble or pride and humility. When God resists the proud the equation is that the level of grace is restricted. May God not restrict grace to us, in Jesus Name. Amen. The bottom line is that however a man/woman may be smart, if grace is restricted, he/she will be disgraced. May we not experience disgrace in Jesus Name. Amen.
Brethren, we should not be part of those that will resist God, as many are doing today. This will eventually make God to stand against us and the devil will try to have his ways. What we need to do is to resist pride in our hearts. More grace is better than less grace. Do you need for more grace in your life and family? Then honor God, humble yourself and you will enjoy more grace, in Jesus Name. Amen
