1 John 4:18
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
Love is divine because it is God’s idea. God Has given us love to use and not to keep to ourselves. Actually, we cannot make others to love us, but no one can stop us from loving others. We should operate in love without fear or torment. Love is to be enjoyed. and it is should normally be without fear. Love according to the gospel will always be perfect, because it has God as foundation and God prevails in its center.
However, love according to man is full of fear because of the conditions man may want in place. Like every other thing, love can start small and is capable to grow through the days, weeks, months and years to the level of great trust and confidence.
Let the way we love ; as Christians and true children of God transform the worst to the best in every situation. Love is work and love is long suffering ; thereby, removing fear into the point of full joy. Jesus labored in love for us. He carried the burden of heavy cross in love. He still loved us when He was in pains on the cross. That was an example of perfect love. Perfect love; still loves when it hurts. Jesus laid down His life to die on the cross because of love for us. Amen.
