Matthew 2:1-3
"1)Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. -
2) Saying, Where is He that is born King of Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."
3) When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and Jerusalem with him"
The Glory of the star of Jesus could not be hidden. He was indeed born a King; not only of the Jews, but as the Savior and the King of the whole world. He was born in Bethlehem but His star shined immediately He was born and was seen in the far east.
The wise men that saw the star had joy in their hearts to travel from Jerusalem to Bethlehem to worship the “New Born King” Jesus. His birth inspired these wise men that they left all to travel and worship the Glory that had just been born. They heard of the Glory and they set out to worship the Glory of Jesus Christ that was revealed to them.
The Glory is still with us till today. It is a Glorious Glory that cannot be destroyed. The enemies of the Jews did all they could to destroy the star and the Glory of Bethlehem but they failed. King Herod of the days of Jesus birth tried with all within His powers but failed. No matter how your enemies tried hard to destroy the star of your glory; they will also fail, in Jesus Name. King Herod was troubled about the star of the Glory of Christ and so shall your enemies be troubled, in Jesus Name. Just hold onto the powerful Name of Jesus today and forever. Be like HIM and your star will shine like HIS. Your Glory will also be like HIS. AMEN.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, than you for another good morning in this last month of the year, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the season of great and good tidings in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for your unfailing loving kindness in my life and family, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, defend my star from the hands of the wicked, in Jesus Name.
5) Father of all Glory, let my glory shine more and more by your power, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, trouble any one that wants to trouble my glory this season, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, preserve my glory till eternity in Jesus Name. Amen.
