John 1:40-42
40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
Andrew the very first Apostle had a good heart to win souls for Christ and he started right from his own family. In our generation, we can also start from our family and immediate environment. In the last day of reckoning, the amount of wealth you have will not count as much as how many souls you positively impacted for Jesus.
Why did Jesus change the name of Simon? For us to be effective for Christ, there is need for a change in certain areas of our lives. Simon was seen as a soft and easy target but God made him as hard as A stone. Watch out that the stone was preceded with capital ‘A’ despite the fact that it followed a comma not a full stop.
Jesus turned his name into an extra ordinary “stone” so it was with capital “A”. Stone that will impact many for Christ. No matter how you might be today, you can be A stone of Jesus to be mightily used. Surrender your life totally. Stop living a life that turns souls off the divine track of Jesus. Stand up right. If you play Church and the pastor, you cannot play Jesus. Stand out from the mess and become a true message and messenger of souls winning. Be part of the great commission from today with your life styles and you will become a commissioner of souls winning like Andrews in Jesus Name. Amen.

1) Father, thank you for another week ending of grace and mercy, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the beginning of another week ahead of time, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for giving me divine victories for the journey ahead of me, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, forgive all sins of my life, foundational, ancestral and foundational, in Jesus Name.
5) Almighty God, take me to the next level with this season, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, create in me a heart to win souls for the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, as this month and year are moving forward, move my life forward, in Jesus Name. Amen and Amen.
