John 20:19 NKJV
“Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you”. “
In every crisis, there is always the element of peace for those that know Jesus as “The Resurrection and the Life” and their personal savior. Jesus is life. He came the first time through the virgin birth to give us life in abundance. John 10:10b refers. The events before and after the crucification/resurrection proved that Jesus was on assignment and duly accomplished.
Fear tainted/impacted the faith of the Apostles, because of how they witnessed the arrest, persecution and the sentence handed over to Jesus despite His innocence. He was still condemned, even when the judge who presided could not find anything against HIM. No power could hinder our Jesus ; who came out from the grave by the power of resurrection. The shut doors would not stop Jesus. Likewise, the closed church buildings would not be able to stop us from prayer and worship lives.
At this critical time in our generation, let Jesus be thy Refuge. The name of Jesus is above all other names, including all plagues and afflictions. Jesus Has taken the strips for our healing. He is with our Father in heaven soliciting for us. Plead regularly the blood that was shed at Calvary. It is powerful enough to save as many that can declare for HIM. Amen. Jesus is the answer to peace in times of crisis. His Name has been tested and proven as of the Bible days till today. Amen.
