Psalms 92:2
"To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night."
The whole chapter 92 of the psalms appeal to my heart for a lifestyle of thanksgiving. The first verse treated yesterday mentioned about the good thing to give thanks. Giving thanks is not only good to give, but it will also be counted as a good work for us. It is a huge privilege to have the opportunity to be part of those that will give thanks to God. This indicates that God is doing something for us on daily basis to give HIM thanks.
The above verse is pointing us to how to give the thanks to our God. By showing forth God’s unfailing lovingkindness and faithfulness in the morning and every night respectively. One will wonder if we should then not show gratitude in the noon time. Giving thanks in the noon time is also good to do, but the thanksgiving in the morning is to thank God for keeping us in HIS love while sleeping, and every night before we go to bed- Thanking God for seeing the end of the day.
Many people see the beginning of the day but not the night, as well as many seeing the end of the day not seeing the next morning. Seeking the face of God for thanksgiving in the morning and every night is essential to God. By so doing, you are telling God that HE is the One responsible for your life day and night. Pray with thanksgiving before you set out and pray the last thing before you retire to bed. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for responsible for my morning and every night, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the forgiveness of all of my iniquities, this season, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, any time I give you praises let heaven open for me, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for calling me unto giving you thanks which is good, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, it is time for me to give my thanksgiving that the world will know that you are God, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, I call upon you to take over my morning, afternoon and every night for thanksgiving, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, let miracles, signs and wonders follow my thanks giving this month and for the rest of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
