Luke 15:17-20a
“And when he came to himself, he said, how many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18) I will arise and go to my father , and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee,
19) And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one one of thy hired servants.
20a) And he arose and came to his father.........”
The above Bible passages are deliberately selected in order to bring out the lessons from the parable of the prodigal son; who had a special revelation despite all the mis information about what life was all about. He thought he would have lost his sonship because of life on the other side, but for a revelation that came to him to prove the reality of his sonship. Amen.
While he was squandering his inheritance where he went; the prodigal son was still a son to his father. He lived upon his wrong beliefs and he got the outcome. Also, he gave to his self desires out of his limited understanding and lack of revelation. The summary of his life style was that he lived a self indulgent life that takes away people’s revelation.
It is better for people to stage a come back before suffering strikes harder. The prodigal’s son was in a worst position and that opened his ears and eyes to the insight of divine revelation. Brethren, yield to the inner insight of the side of your revelation and you will head in the right direction, in Jesus Name. Amen.
