Galatians 6:1
"BRETHREN, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness ; considering thy self, lest thou also be tempted."
When a man is overtaken by a fault and falls, as Christian brethren, we are expected to restore such a man and not allow the man to go down further from the place of his fault and fall. Restoring such a man is the desire of God. When such a man is restored, you have just done the will of God.
There is need for the spirit of care and meekness, indeed, love is essential for us to proceed with the process of restoration. Please note that we are all vulnerable to faults, falls and temptation. We are standing by the power and the word of God. Therefore, we should not consider ourselves better than the faulted brother or sister.
To be able to carry out the restoration instruction accordingly, we must be in a position that God can use us for the assignment as agents of restoration. With reference to 1 Corinthians 10:12, it says “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall” Brethren, take heed. Watch, pray and work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Consequently, it will be easy to work out restoration for a brother that is overtaken by fault. As this year is running to an end, let the power and the presence of God empower my life to become part of the divine process of restoring such a man ; that might have fallen because of faults of life. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for your word of restoration season, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let your power make me as your agent of restoration to the faulted brethren, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, forgive all my sins from the foundation of my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, my life will not be overtaken by faults, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let my desire correspond with thy will in every area in Jesus Name.
6) Father, arise and confirm me as your agent of restoration unto my generation, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Father, as this year is running to an end ; the end of the year siege will be far away from me and my family, in Jesus Name. Amen.
