Luke 8:43-44
"And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could he healed of any, 44) came behind Him, and touched the border of His garment : and immediately her issue of blood stanched"
The unnamed woman had a direct issue that would not go away for twelve years. This issue was called the “issue of blood”. Let us come to think of it : who does not have issue in life? Ranging from social to economic, medical, spiritual, physical etc.
Many of these issues could not go away with all human and natural efforts, without access to the power of Jesus and divine intervention of God. The situation of the woman mentioned in the Bible passages above was tragic and shipwrecking. The issue of blood was not a fault of hers. It came as a result of nature.
Nature could not at times be used to combat nature without spiritual intervention. This unmanned woman struggled to find solution to what was going on in her body and in her life. She visited many specialists and consultants without solution, until she gained access to Jesus. Let somebody shout Hallelujah!!!!!!! She was missing very much out of life and almost resigning to ‘reality’ that she would never had a restoration solution. Access to Jesus restored back her life to her and she began new life. Praise God.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the journey so far into the year 2016, month of August and this day, this week, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the light of another day, in Jesus Name.
3) Almighty God, restore every failing department of my life unto your glory, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me access your power and put an end to every struggle of my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, intervene in all the affairs of my life and make great ways to me, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, increase my faith to keep accessing thy throne, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, give me redeeming access to my healing, in Jesus Name.
