Luke 8:43-44
"And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could he healed of any, 44) came behind Him, and touched the border of His garment : and immediately her issue of blood stanched"
Matthew, Mark and Luke gave the account of the unnamed woman with the issue of blood. The account of Dr. Luke is clear enough to know how much this woman had suffered with her issue. Not many issues of life people are going through are printable.
The age of the woman and her name were not as important as the issue she was facing. She had spent all her life savings paying the doctors and there was no solution in sight. She heard of Jesus and decided to pursue HIM with a touch of faith rather than continue with her treatment.
She came from behind against all odds. She wanted to find and touch Jesus by all means. She was tired of the stories by the doctors and the intimidation of the priests about her uncleanliness. She made up her mind to go with the outcome with Jesus, because all others sources could not get her healing. It was the access that this unnamed woman had to Jesus that brought her miraculous healing. You will have access to the power of Jesus too if you can have the courage and faith to pursue HIS power. Amen.
