Galatians 1:6
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel."
The above Bible passage was referring to believers and followers of Christ that abandoned the simplicity of Jesus and HIS grace. The penultimate verses in 4 & 5 highlighted some of the benefits of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; like deliverance from this evil world and peace given on the platform of grace, which Jesus is the sacrifice by His own life. The grace given by God is not cheap, because of the precious blood of Jesus.
Paul the Apostle was marveled by the Galatians’ Christians being drifted from the original gospel of grace of Jesus Christ’s true gospel into another gospel; which verse 7 reveals as trouble and perversion of the gospel of grace. Our generation is full with other packaged gospels that look real. These gospels give credit to man rather than God. The followers of the other gospels are looking for quick fixing of their circumstances which always lead into trouble.
Brethren, quick fixes do not last long, except they are from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. They may look real, but they are not. Patience relying on Christ is a guarantee of everlasting solution to our tough times. The power of grace is sufficient to lift up the fallen man. It will keep a true believer till the end. The power of grace is sufficient to bear our burdens. The key is genuine repentance and patience for the actual move of the power of God in grace. Stand firm on the call of (GOD’s) promises. They have never failed and will not fail on you, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the great season of great grace, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, do not allow the devil to remove me from your power of grace, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, do not allow any circumstances to drive me and family away from the call of grace, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me and my family enjoy the benefits of the power of grace, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, I will not miss out from the call of grace, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, let it be pleasing to you to put me and my family on a high pedigree of grace, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, let the power of grace conquer for me all known and unknown adversaries, in Jesus Name.
