Proverbs 11:30
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life ; and he that winneth souls is wise"
Winning souls is the heartbeat and the mandate of God. Jesus Christ had compassion on lost souls; therefore, soul winning is a spiritual clarion call. It does not require any special packaging or your academics or any special ability. Just share your experience of the good news. It is mainly your willingness and availability that are required. When you win souls, it is attached to righteousness.
Apart from the Holy Spirit that Convicts the heart of a man/woman to submit and yield to any call, God at one point made someone or something to persuade you to believe that salvation of your soul is critical to whatever you can ever become. Let the cycle go on and not break with you.
Through out this month of September, this devotional will continue to emphasize on the import of soul winning. Do not allow a single soul near you to perish. Witness the goodness and the faithfulness of God. Demonstrate the fruit of righteousness at all times. Be sensitive to your environment starting from your immediate family. Look for opportunity to be a witness. Let your fruit become sweet enough to attract others to want to have a taste of your Jesus. Praise God.
