Revelations 7:1-3
1) “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2) And I saw another angel ascending from the East, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
The above Bible passages above are more of excerpts from the book of Revelation chapter Seven rather than the usual short passages. The idea is to have the the context of the devotional as we go ahead in the series. Amen. The book of revelation is to teach and assist us to know the things to come and much more to be prepared for them when they come. Therefore, Christians should be able to study that last book of the Bible and begin to set things in order. Amen.
The excerpts above begin with after all these things. What are those things? They are the process thus far from the beginning to this point we are living. We are in the dispensation that the winds from the four sides of heaven and earth are blowing. From the East, West, North and South. The controller of the winds is Jesus in conjunction with the God Head our Father in heaven. The Holy Spirit is not left behind in the works of the winds. The wind symbolizes the Holy Spirit. When the wind blows the power of Trinity blows.
At any point in time the wind blows, no one knows exactly where is coming from and where is going. No matter the direction we go, the winds are blowing and Jesus is in charge. There is grace in the wind blowing and you will not miss out of the grace if you are on the side of the Lord. It is the grace that saves us from the contrary wind, not anything we can do. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the grace in the winds blowing, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, by your mercy put me permanently to be on thy side from now on till eternity, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, do not allow me to miss thy grace when the wind is blowing contrary, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, I need thy unfailing and amazing Grace to continue life, even when the wind is contrary, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, count me and my family worthy of thy preserving seal when the boisterous winds blow, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, save me and my loved ones from any hurting winds, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let thy invisible great and mighty Hands deliver me and family from evil winds, in Jesus Name. Amen.
